Hi! I’m Isabela Zuniga, a fourth-year student at CSULB pursuing a Public Relations major and a minor in Consumer Affairs. Currently, I am a social media intern for the Journalism & Public Relations Department. I am also a marketing assistant for Associated Students Inc., where I prepare and distribute promotional materials that are delivered across campus. Additionally, I’m a team member for Azul PR Agency, where I work closely with clients to create PR campaigns that align with their goals. I also create press releases, fact sheets, media kits, biographies and more.

Previously, I served as a social media intern, managing the LinkedIn page for the CSULB Math and Statistics Department. As an intern, I created content suitable for LinkedIn followers, such as posting jobs and internships. I also created content for all the department’s platforms. I’ve also contributed to the Long Beach Current, where I wrote several articles ranging from topics of news, opinion, arts and life and sports. There, I developed AP style and interviewing skills, skills I use in my everyday learning.

My overall areas of interest are social media creation, media relations, entertainment, music, sports and photography, and I am always searching to gain more experience in these fields. Feel free to contact me if you would like to connect!
